Wine Tour
Georgia has 8,000 year history of continuous wine making tradition, which is proved by multiple archeological excavations and historical facts. The modern world recognized Georgia as the homeland of wine. Georgians have a special method of making wine in stone presses and then storing it in clay vessels sunk in the ground (Named: “Qvevri”). Making wine in Qvevri is listed by UNESCO list into intangible cultural heritage.
In this tour you travel to the wine-growing region of Kakheti in East Georgia, where you can Go down the old wine cellars and taste various types of wines, known far beyond the country.
